A Hunger Games Roleplay
It’s been over a half a century since Katniss Everdeen along with District Thirteen attacked the Capitol, destroying all that it stood for and setting up a new government that the districts had only dreamed of. The country lived in absolute peace and harmony during this time, the whole idea of being free from the Capitol’s reign seeming like a fairy tale that would only be destined to crumble.
Terror was struck into the hearts of the citizens once more when the old Capitol of Panem rose up from the ashes and destroyed the rebellion that had once posed their greatest thread. They then reestablishing the old system to continue their reign of terror and reestablished the Hunger Games at full force to teach all the citizens of Panem that they were no match against the Capitol.
Today the citizens of Panem stood where they once did a when Katniss Everdeen attempted to over thrown the government, the Hunger Games ripping families apart and keeping them from prospering. The rules are still the same as they were before, one male and one female between the ages of twelve and eighteen from each district must be sent into the arena to fight for their lives. There is only one question that reignites in the minds of those who dare enter this fight though, that one question only raising more questions than it answers.
